Market introduction:

The premium MPV was launched in India on 21 April 2022, and the CNG entry-level Zeta trim was launched on 31 October 2022.

Variants:

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is offered in six variants, including Zeta, Zeta AT, Alpha, Alpha AT, Alpha Plus, and Alpha Plus AT.

Engine and transmission:

Mechanically, the Maruti XL6 is powered by a K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT gasoline engine with progressive, smart hybrid technology. This engine produces 102bhp at 6,000rpm and 136.8Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. The MPV is available in a five-speed manual and a new six-speed automatic transmission option with paddle shifters. 

The S-CNG variant is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 101bhp and 136Nm of torque in petrol mode and 88bhp and 121.5Nm of torque in CNG mode. A five-speed manual unit is the sole transmission on offer.

Exterior:

As part of the fresh update, the XL6 gets a new bold front grille with an ‘X-bar’ element, which is complemented by Quad chamber LED reflector headlamps along with LED DRLs. The vehicle rides on a set of 16-inch machine-finished two-tone alloy wheels. The rear section is highlighted by 3D LED tail lamps with a light guide and smoked grey lens. Additionally, the vehicle also gets a new back door garnish with a chrome insert, a rear door spoiler, and a shark fin antenna.

Interior:

The Maruti XL6 now offers premium roof lining, soft-touch door trim armrests, and more. 

The XL6 gets premium leather perforated seat upholstery, captain seats in the second row, and reclining seats in the third row. The vehicle also gets roof-mounted AC for rear passengers with multiple adjustable air vents and three-stage speed control. It also gets air-cooled can holders, a front-row armrest with a utility box, smartphone storage, bottle holders in each row and an option for a power socket.

Safety and features:

The XL6 gets ventilated seats in the front row, a new seven-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, 360 view camera, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, ESP with Hill Hold, and ISOFIX.

The vehicle also gets an in-built Suzuki Connect with over 40 connectivity features. Moreover, the car can also be accessed via a compatible smartwatch and voice connectivity through Suzuki connect skill for Amazon Alexa. 

Seating capacity:

The Maruti XL6 accommodates six passengers.

Colours:

The vehicle is available in six monotone and three dual-tone colour options. The monotone colour options include - Nexa Blue, Brave Khakhi, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, and Grandeur Grey. The dual-tone version gets a black roof in the following colour options - Splendid Silver, Brave Khaki, and Opulent Red.
